Re: Bronco Safari 2014 - April 30th thru May 3rd in Moab, UT
Anyone going out early? I have a run I am doing on the 4th so I am going out on the 26th and staying until the 2nd. I just reserved a vacation rental townhouse on the south end of town. My uncle is bringing his full size solid axled and locked bronco and staying at my rental with me so we are planning on hitting some trails starting on the 27th. Probably mild to medium difficulty trails as he is driving his bronco out there and back and his is a bit big for some stuff. Plus his is still pretty straight with nice paint but he has been up spring creek and chinaman gulch so he is not afraid to use it. He is currently running 35s but will probably step up to 37s by then. I'll be in my bronco, of course, and most of you have seen it. I am always willing to spot/help so please feel free to join us! I'll start putting together a trail list and agenda soon if anyone is interested.

Re: Moab April 29th through May 4th
I will be there April 26th until May 2nd. My uncle will be with me in his full size so we'll be looking for some somewhat milder trails until he hops in my bronco. We are staying in a vacation rental near the arena on the south end of town.

Re: Bronco Safari 2014 - April 30th thru May 3rd in Moab, UT
Going through the responses so far, looks like we will have a much larger group of Colorado rigs there this year.
PLANNING ON GOING Rox Crusher 76fordbronco Kinder Landshark Kchaser ZOSO Eck Crawlercreations MoneyPit ManTruck ScottBarnes MOLLEY
CONSIDERING GOING BNC04 Justin
It would be good to start working out some of the logistics depending on what everyone wants to do.
Last year, I liked going on the official Bronco Safari runs as a group.
This year I would like to go on an extended run or two. The Bronco Safari runs start at 9 (or so) and usually end mid afternoon. I wouldn't even mind a night of primitive camping on a trail.

Sounds like a great time. I'm trying to decide if I can make it or not.

Re: Bronco Safari 2014 - April 30th thru May 3rd in Moab, UT
You can add me to the "Seriously Considering" list.
I'm not sure if I'll have a tow rig & trailer by then. I might tow the pop up with the Bronco. I'd prefer camping off the "grid", or possibly at a commercial campground.
If there is a group planning on camping lets try to organize where and get reservations if we need to.

Camping sounds good to me also. That would help keep expenses down which is important for me right now.

If im able to make it I'll be lookin for a passenger seat again unless booger decide to take his bronco. I liked that campground we stayed in last year due to down in a "whole" we were out of the major wind.

I'll be with the camping crew, likely driving the bronco & towing the popup versus loading it up on the trailer.

For those of us that are going we will all need to make sure you have a snorkel on your rig and a rooftop tent. This way you'll be in style with the Toyotas and Jeepers.

It's looking more like I wont be able to swing this from a vacation planning perspective. I have 2 out of state graduations to attend that will eat up the time I was planning to use here.

I will try to go up with my dad. Maybe he can use bsd to tow bubba smurf, up due to the fact I somewhat get into the double digits with my truck.
