CB Antenna Suggestion
Looking for a good side mounted, fold down, CB antenna. Any suggestions? I'd like to mount it to the passenger side rear fender and be able to fold it forward when not in use. Or I could slip the mount under the soft top rail etc.

Re: CB Antenna Suggestion
I used a 4' Firestik II antenna kit from rightchannelradios. Have not had a chance to use it yet but was able to tune to an SWR of 1.4 or less across the full range. It came with a mount, 18' cable, antenna, spring and mic clip for about $60. i do not have a folding mount but you should be able to order one at the same time.

Re: CB Antenna Suggestion
I don't know if you'd want to drive this far, but Summit Radio on Sheridan is a great CB shop. Run by a very cool older guy that tuned and tweaked my CB and was a wealth of info for my custom mount.

Re: CB Antenna Suggestion
Thanks guys. I'll probably order up the Firestik II with associated cable and mount.

Re: CB Antenna Suggestion
I run a Wilson 5000 base load, permanent mount. You can get a magnetic mount as well. I get killer signal. Not sure if you care for the 60" whip, but its a bad ass antenna.
