I'd agree with Scott. Just put on your THICK skin and you'll be fine! There was a sweet D90 outside my house yesterday (Const. worker's truck). I was going snap a picture, but the owner was walking back to it so I didn't want him to get suspicious. It had 31-ish Swamper LTB's (a Euro version at least) on it and it was diesel. I ed over it!

Broncos are the best but other rigs are plenty capable and cool too..................but that doesn't mean we wouldn't give you some good natured ribbing......................especially if that thing has a snorkel

I'll disconnect the snorkel. It has rock sliders, skid plates, a 2 inch lift running 33s and a locking center differential. It has lots of comfortable leather ride along seats also.

That thing looks very capable and in need of a shake down run by its new owner..........
If only we knew of a big gathering of off-road unthusiasts going to one of the world's coolest off-reading meccas...........
Let's roll !

I'm also bringing a loads of fire wood so we don't have to spend a bunch of money on some.

How many people will have any shotgun seats? I've got some friends that would love to come with.

Re: Bronco Safari 2014 - April 30th thru May 3rd in Moab, UT
I have a Rover repair shop in Evergreen Co. I have taken my Rover a couple of times and minus a couple of tea and crumpet jokes from Steve Sinclair. every one has been great. I'm trying to bring my Bronco this year but as always time is running short , you might have Rover company. That said this years Rover Rally will also be in Moab. Check out the Solihul society. Not as cool as the Bronco community , but like minded Rover people to wheel with still fun. Hope to see you in Moab.

I guy I work with owns a Land Cruiser and is a member of the Rising Sun 4X4 club. The reason so many Toyotas are in Moab the same time we are is their club has their annual Cruise Moab event. They usually base out of Slickrock Campground. Yes I gave him an extra load of about their snorkle runs. http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/

Re: Bronco Safari 2014 - April 30th thru May 3rd in Moab, UT
We're still working on the trail list and schedule It will include all the big name trails, We have some new options we are adding this year too. Off hand here's what we have so far: For Sures: Hell's Revenge Poison Spider Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim/Spider Moab Rim Kane Creek Cliff Hanger Pritchett Coyote Canyon Seven Mile Behind the Rocks Elephant Hill (new as a Safari trail) A mix of AreaBFE trails including Green Day Possibly The Pickle/Mashed Potato/Hidden Canyon
We're looking to round it out with about 4 or 5 more that are yet to be determined Some of these will be run twice, others maybe morning/afternoon.

Re: Bronco Safari 2014 - April 30th thru May 3rd in Moab, UT
I'm getting pretty excited about this trip. One of my final pieces was to secure a trailer for the Bronco to ride on behind the truck. I had a few possible trailers lined up to borrow but none ended up working out. This weekend I solved the problem and bought one. My Dad and I have been talking about going in on one for a while so I decided there was no better time than the present. My Neighbors are probably less excited about the purchase than I am. Now I just have to figure out the wiring on the truck for the 7 Blade RV plug. It previously had a 6 pin plug but the wiring was mostly disconnected from the plug. I looked up the standard plug wiring and the truck wiring diagrams but one of the two I have must be incorrect because my brake lights and left turn signal both seem to be connected to the running lights. On the bright side, the right turn signal seems to work correctly! I wanted to straighten out the wiring and try to figure out how the settings on my brake controller are supposed to be set up but this white crap started falling out of the sky that prohibited me from lying on my back in the driveway.

Doesn't UPS have some system where they mostly turn right anyway? I'm not really sure what the problem is.
