Re: Wheeler Lake
Required/suggested set up? Prospects of damage?
I know trail damage has a run down. Would be nice to hear the Bronco owner perspective.

Wheeler Lake
I ran it a couple of years ago when my Bronco was just the Dirty Donkey. 33's on 3.5" lift, front locker only, 302 w/ C4. It did great, and a nearly stock Toyota Tacoma made it up to the bowling ball area by just gunning it. I didn't have any damage, there are some bypasses for the "Flopper" & "V Cut." Bnut ran it last year with his uncut on 31's, I think he ended up rubbing the fenders, but no damage either.

Re: Wheeler Lake
Sounds good. How's parking for tow rigs? Just in case.

How long to run the trail? I don't remember it's been too long.

Re: Wheeler Lake
I'm a maybe. I have not done much of anything with the Bronco since Moab and there a some things that need to be gone through before I get it back on the trail. I'll do an assessment and see if I can get it together in time.

Re: Wheeler Lake
Depending on where I am at with my engine swap, I would like to go. If mine isn't ready and someone has a passenger seat open, I would love to get on board! ToolMan-- if you are able to go and are going solo, I'd jump in with you if that is ok.

If any one has an open seat I would like to come along with. Bronco is running awesome, gas is just killing me. I also need to save for a new motor.

Re: Wheeler Lake
I'm the guy from CB.com who'll be there on the 16th. My buddy (Jeep Rubicon) and I ('73 EB) are coming from Texas to stay in Fairplay starting on the 10th for about 10 days. We plan on doing about 10-15 trails in the area so if you can do some other trails with us it would be great. Glad you guys are coming to Wheeler Lake. I didn't see a response from Moneypit. We have wheeled with them at OCBR and LEBC Annual Roundup. Jesus Man is also a former LEBC pal.
