I saw a 66 U13 with less than 6k (Nantucket dweller its whole life) go for just a shade over 45k. But that was about 6-7 years ago.

When this pulls up on Tapatalk- the CL ad says the paint color is green. Already starting to wonder scam. Nobody that has this rare of a Bronco would put this little effort into a posting. Would they?

Maybe I'll give them a call and report back. I'm off tomorrow and Friday and they're fairly close. If it's real it's worth some $$.

I agree...sweet survivor. However, someone posted on CL it was a kind of a scam (see link below).

So I am prepared to offer the original owners $10k at that two week deadline.

But I don't see how it's a scam, so much as an entrepreneurial move.

Went and looked at this today... It is kind of a green, faded ( similar to Landsharks color) obvious leaking everywhere, has a plow.

Floors have some surface rust...pass side not as bad, just deeper rust, inner fenders are good, pass side is starting to bubble, odometer reads less than 8k, apparently the dad bought his house and the bronco came with it way back when...

Not a whole Lot of original paperwork with it. Headliner looks brand new ... The guy won't sell it, it has to go through the estate sale... And he couldn't give me an answer on when it will be

I saw it today as well. Overall, it was a nice rig. Keith gave a good rundown on the rust. If I had the cash, I'd buy it, cut and buff the paint, fix some of the leaky seals and drive it as is.

I think this guy knows exactly what he is doing. With so many of us looking at it he is going to drive the price right to the sky. He is acting like he has no idea of the worth but is getting a pretty good idea of it by the amount of interest he has had. He scheduled everyone to go look at today to see how many showed and how many made an offer. Explains why he had the cooler sitting there. Too bad someone seriously interested isn't going to get as good of a deal now due to the number of people looking at it including the "investors" that looked at it after Matt and I did. Could have been a great buy for someone, now it's going to be an okay buy on a very nice Bronco.

What time were you guys there?

Biggest thing that bugged me, was he couldn't give a time frame on the estate sale.... Curious on what else might be at the property

We were there at 5. He was talking about 2 other people that had been there earlier from Fort Collins too. He had a lot of lookers for sure. The group of 3 that looked at it after us really appeared to be car flippers and didn't give me the impression they cared about what type of vehicle it was. The woman of the group just laid on the fender basically. Bugs me more than it should I suppose.

I was there with them, just missed meeting up with you guys. The son is the one looking at it, is an intermittent member here, and is building a sweet sounding trail EB.

Crawlercreations-I was the son of the three that looked at it after you. My mom doesn't know jack crap about the nostalgia of this bronco. Im definitely not a bronco flipper. I have a 77' with 56k original miles that been torn down for past 7 years. My paps has a 69 mach 1 428 R code. We've also got a 59' F100 thats all original. I have a few family members that worked on the ford assembly line in the 60's and 70s...were huge ford fanatics. That being said Ive always dreamed of owning an uncut/untouched original. I would cry my eyes out if I saw this thing get cut. This would be my garage queen...it would get an intensive cleaning and wax job thats it. This vehicle that would stay in my family for years to come.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I just wish I was there and could get in on the action.
