There is one simple solution to your issue D&D

I like it!
Set it up - I am out of town October 10-15 but otherwise, my month is pretty open.
I say plan something before the holidays anyway. Everyone tends to be pretty busy with family, work and friend functions that time of year.

Another thing that sucks. I don't own a bow. Or have a tag.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
The thermostat for my trans cooler fan quit yesterday. I had to jumper it with just a toggle switch. Then the trans temp gauge crapped out. I started to panic when I saw 350* trans temps. But the infrared temp gun on the trans pan showed 180*

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Finding out the hard way that you are not going to make the trail run this weekend.
Just a small electrical issue (need to re-wire the fans)
Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike wiring? Guess it is my fault, I made the comment out loud that it seemed as though everything was working on Drew's Little Pony finally. Jinxed it.

Nothing a little electrical tape can't fix.
Any idea what went wrong?

Doesn't look like it was properly fused and appears to have either shorted out or had a loose connection.

Pulled mine out about two years ago and haven't missed it either. And not having the distraction of music helps me to identify when things don't sound right. Come to think of it, I might put the stereo back in. My "to-do" list is getting too long.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Had a very close call this morning. We were up hunting this morning. Went out and started the bronco. all was fine. Drove off to our spot. Hiked in and did our morning hunt. After a morning of nothing we decided to head back to camp and pack up. Here's were it could have went very badly. I start the bronco and turn around. Both me and dad notice the very strong smell of gas(and no it wasnt from either of us). I stopped and got out. Walked around the bronco and as I got to the front passenger side I see fuel pouring out of the engine compartment. Hurry up and shut it off. Pop the hood to see everything covered in fuel. I restart the bronco real quick while dad pinpoints the leak, Found the pressure regulator was leaking very badly. Just happy the engine was cold as it sits right above the passenger header. Could have ended very badly if it happened on our drive home or any other time it was hot.

I'd rather throw up for an hour that feel nauseous for a minute

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Well Im really glad it was nice n cold today. This morning as I was driving south to meet up with Kirk, Jeff, and Chris for the clean up I could smell something burning. When I exited wads off 470 I pulled over to find the smell. I popped the hood to find the fan on the trans cooler locked up and g. Turned it off for the day hoping I wouldn't cook the trans now. Well the infrared temp on the pan showed 160* temps so all was good.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Hmm it seems that each time I drive the bronco something goes wrong. Each trip the trans leaks more and more. It's almost worse than what the old one was. Then friday on my way home it started to grind and make noise. one of 2 things. spud shaft to t case or the trans. Being pissed off already I just drove it. The noise cleared up within 1/2 mile and all was peachy. Now to tear it apart and see what the issues are.
