BEST MILEAGE ?
I realize that our beloved Broncos won't ever achieve "greenie status"......but on long road trips I like to keep track of how mine is doing.
So during last week's trip to Silverton / Ouray I put on a total of 975 miles. Most of them (650+/-) hiway miles.
Looks like I averaged 15.37 mpg which included about 325 miles of around town driving and trail riding while at the event.
If I can rack up another 150k miles I bet I can recoup the cost of the 4R70W swap and re-gearing.
What are you getting ?

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
Light foot @ 50-55mph, I was getting 16 mpg. (using GPS for mileage and filling at the same pump each time)
I'm hoping for better with overdrive and fuel injection, but won't know for a while.

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
You know what I do when it comes to the Bronco(s) and gas millage? Nothing, I honestly don't want to know. A guy I work with asked me what kind of millage I get in my Bronco ( The Green / White One ). My answer " Shitty" He then proceeded to tell me about the MPG's in his Honda. I used to keep track in the 66 but stopped keeping tack after a year or so. That said, I'm obsessed with the millage I'm getting in the power stroke.

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
My cleveland gets 12-13 if i keep it under 70mph. Around town with an assertive driving style, it gets....well i try not to think about it. And it needs 91 octane!

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
I never figured mine out either. All I knew was I could go camping for a long weekend, do all the trails, a run or two into town and still have a half tank. I think mine does pretty well, but I don't really have any idea.
Jeremy - do you track your MPG with an app? I've been using Fuelio and it's pretty descent. I wanted something I could backup, and download to a spreadsheet. I used to keep a spreadsheet template in all my cars and every time there was a fill-up, it was logged. Ask your Honda buddy to follow you to the mountains one day...
Kirk you can play, but I fear as of now, you are a category of one.

11.42 average over the last 8200 miles.

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
I've used Fuelly for a long time. No app, but a good mobile web interface. Oddly, I've never tracked the mileage on the Bronco. The TDI gets somewhere around 45 mpg, but that's cheating.

Yeah Jeremy, I like that response for the Honda fan. Just another common car lost in a sea of many others.
There is some descent apps out there, even for those isheeple (lol)

Back from the back pages. Happy to be back in 33s. I pulled 14.45 on this last fill up.

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
Drew - with his 4.9 I6 and the old C-4 would see 18+ on the highway, around town much less hovered around 14ish - yes that is with the teenage boy driving style
(gearing was waaaayyy to high)
Have not figured out what he gets with the new NP435 yet but with 33's gearing seems pretty much spot on.

BEST MILEAGE ?
Wow that is all over the place, what app is that?
My lowest avg has been around 18 mpg, towing a loaded off road trailer from Parker to Meeker and back. Daily I believe I'm still averaging around 20 mpg. I'll have to start tracking it since I drive it daily.

Re: BEST MILEAGE ?
13.25 mpg. Not bad considering I haven't done anything to it yet since I bought it except pull theHolley fuel injection and install a new intake manifold and q jet.
