Well diesel has hit a new low since I've been paying attention.

Unfortunately gas has opened up a serious gap in pricing, Costco has regular unleaded for 1.99 a gallon.

1.95 here in Missouri.

Wow, I thought I'd never see sub-$2 ever again!! $1 gap in price makes a diesel rig less appealing, especially when that $1 is 50% the price of diesel. You're usually coming out on top with diesel if petrol is 80% the price. But the power and range is still nice!

1.89 for regular. 2.84 for diesel.

Agreed, but it irritates me to see diesel dropping more slowly than gasoline. Wipes out some of my savings for driving one of those weirdo diesel cars.

A couple weeks ago, gas dropped something like $.50, and diesel went up from $3.55 to $3.79.

Diesel is still at $3.39 here, $2.29 for gas.

Prices for gas and diesel are both running about $.20 lower down here. Between than and the mileage loss from the winterization of the diesel I'm annoyed. At least I still have boatloads of torque. It's like driving a little tiny locomotive.

Paid $2.87 for diesel at the Western in Parker last night, regular gasoline was $1.99, so locally the $1.00 gap has closed.

1.789 for regular in the Springs right now.

Price of fuel is nuts right now. I never thought I'd see gas prices this low again.

And while the lower prices help us out as consumers..........

our oil development business is already beginning to suffer........

which of course could jeopardize our path to energy independence.

But, I too, digress

I feel as though we should all be sitting in large leather chairs in a room filled with cigar smoke, cognac in hand, surrounded by leather bound books and frequently uttering an "indeed" as we all nod in approval.

F**k it! I'm happy the price of oil is in the toilet! Let's bring down the commies and what they stand for.

Indeed! I've got mixed feelings. I like the cheap price of fuel, but my dad is out of a job. He's a health and safety guy that works contracts up at the oil sands projects in Alberta.
