Diesel bypass filter feedback
Any diesel dudes running a aftermarket bypass filter? I'm thinking of adding one, the Amsoil setup looks easy to install and the price is right. I already have a spare pressure port to use and the 4bt pan has a second plug to use for return. I think the filter is a 1 or 2 micron spec, anything else I should consider?

I'm running a secondary bypass oil setup on the Super Duty. And I love it. Haven't done a Blackstone report yet since I installed it. But the dudes over on FordTrucks say that they've pushed out to 10k between oil changes with no discernible difference in report readings over their previous 3-5k samples.
_________________ Stroppe'd 1972 Sport, 302, 3 speed with old school Duff floor shifter, T shift Dana 20 with JB Fab twin stick, 4.11 gears with Trac-loc, Lincoln hydroboost, Chevy disc conversion, WH gas lift gate shock kit, 33" Duratrac tires on slots and about 2.5" of lift, Stroppe installed: bumper braces, dual shocks on all four corners, GM power steering, trans cooler mount, auto shift column, rollbar.
The Terrible One 1972 Sport uncut, 302, C4 with 1974 column , T shift Dana 20, 3.50 gears w/ limited slip, 1966 U13 Roadster kick panel, and factory power steering.

I'm doing mine at 5k now. 10k sounds appealing but I just don't know if I trust second hand data just yet.

I ran http://ecomicrofilters.com/ setup on my PSD. The only issue I had was getting replacement filters due to some sort of manufacturing issue, but I did find another source for those.
