They were stock (or dealer installed) on the '73 to '79 Ford F series trucks. Didn't tear huge holes out of the doors when they hit something, like the previous generations mirrors did.

Oh hello!.. story has it from a friend that lives a few doors down.. house is a rental and that bronco has been there through a couple tenants..maybe its a landlords?

More like "Gone in 6 hours; with the help of two friends, an engine hoist, and two come-alongs."

saw one a couple of days ago at home depot here in Denver. Don't know the year, was a half cab on full width axles, front was narrowed. Custom Bumpers was on 35's, maybe 37's. Should have gotten a picture but was in a hurry
