"best" body mount kit
Is there a best, or better, body mount kit.
WH sells a rubber set & a polyurethane set with "bigger" hardware.
Amazon has a poly set $20 & free shipping less than the WH sets (Energy Suspension).
Rubber vs poly?
Any reason to spend the extra for WH?

"best" body mount kit
Rubber is squishy but can lead to rusty body mounts on the frame and body (not really an issue in Colorado). Poly is stiff but doesn't have the associated rust worries (again, Colorado). Rubber will begin to sag in about 15 years or so (unless today's rubber body mounts are better than the olden days). Poly will still be the exact same rigid thickness 1,000 years from now.
Personally, I like rubber. I put new rubber on the '66, never got around to replacing the '69, and will be going with rubber on the '72 and '73.
Are you running any body lift or planning to?

No body lift, yet. But if I want to clock my Atlas flat, I"ll need 2". That might probably happen with the jump from 33's to 37's in a year or two.
I just figure if I'm going to build a new front clip, I should start off on new body mounts. The 40 year old rubber ones are pretty deformed.

I would probably run poly in your case. I don't even know if they make a body lift in rubber. Never looked into BL before. Also, if you're going to customize or rebuild the front clip you'll want some structural rigidity I would think.

One vendor make an integrated 1" body lift with mounts in poly. Might be something to think about if your going to raise it more in the future. Less pancake stacks like I have on my 69.

If you're looking to build on a rock solid platform, go with the poly bushings. When you install them use a torque wrench and set them all the same to make sure you are absolutely uniform. I have one you can have for free. ;)

thats it, i have that kit on my 76 but was busy didn't have time to look up where i got it. I had to go swap out some of the bolts as they wouldn't fit on mine.. not a biggie but worth knowing it might be the case for others.
