Post Solid foundation for LUBR street rig
Getting the itch to build a dedicated off roader.

Would be interested in a good / solid rolling chassis with decent body.

Preferably without motor and transmission.

Gonna take my time looking for the right deal and would appreciate any leads you might have.

And the other consideration is to quit doing anything to make my current one nicer, use it for dedicated wheeler......and hunt for a more suitable rig to build a super nice OBDII LUBR

What kind of trails are you looking to run? I'd hate to see your current one beat up, but if you're just doing mild to moderate stuff it's perfect. Spring Creek is about the toughest trail near the metro area and can be pretty easily done with a rear locker, decent driving and 35's.

I want to be able to do things like elevator at MOAB and other more challenging trails

And I feel a bit guilty putting dings in Ol blue.

But the more I think about it, I'm thinking it would be more prudent and cost effective to go further with it as a wheeler.

It already has a decent body / paint. It would probably take 10k + to get it in super nice shape again as the cowl, front door posts, and maybe firewall need replaced.

I used Reliable Carriers shipping my Porsche back to my father in Ohio. Good price, quick, not much communication though. It was "off season" for the guy linked above, I guess the private guys don't run during the "winter" due to the lack of business.
