Post Easy height measurement needed
Hey guys, since I'm going to rework my suspension and have NOT made any decision yet on how much lift to go with, could I get a height measurement?

Ground to bottom of door handle inches is what I'd like.

Let me know your tire size, lift " and if you have a body lift.

I currently have some suspension lift but it's a homemade with a 74-75 front disk brake front end.
Thanks.

Erik

49" to the bottom of the door handle (not button).

I have a 3 year old WH 3.5 SL. No body lift with some pretty old body bushings. 33" BFGs

2" to spare on garage door.

Sounds like my custom suspension is lower than I thought. I was thinking 4.5" suspension with no body lift and true 37" Iroks but I'm at 50.5" to the bottom of the door handle. Looks like I'm closer to 3.5, or so, of lift based on what I'm seeing here.

Thanks for the replies, I'm not sure what I got now, my Bronco is 46.5" to bottom of door handles with 33" tires (new Goodyear Duratrac's).

I wonder is its stock or a saggy ole 3" suspension. I thinking I may go 4.5" suspension on the rebuild.

edit: Does anyone know what a stock Bronco measurement is?

Very few stock suspension Broncos rolling around. Zack, Clay & Jeremy are probably going to give you the best measurements for that.

College. I hate writing papers. I'll try and grab a measurement from TO in the morning before I leave. Although, I have no door handles.
