Re: mud run
That's a tough one. Most, if not all, the mud pits on Federal land are considered off limits. What about that park out east. CORE is it? http://www.coloradooffroadextreme.com/Looks like they have mud...and rocks for those of us who H8 mud!

Re: mud run
Some years ago two of the DJ's on KILO caught felonies playing in the mud where they weren't supposed to. Definitely not something you want to get wrong.

Re: mud run
I used to love playing in the mud. Now I prefer rocks.
it just takes too much time and effort to get all that mud off

Re: mud run
Take it from me and 20years of mud runs and bogs living in Wisconsin. 5 min of fun not worth 20 yrs of pulling mud out of brakes, frame, and everything else. I can still get mud out of my frame and I've lived in Colorado for 5 yrs!!! Oh hell, it's still fun!

I'm sure you could go anywhere with the weather we have had lately.

Re: mud run
Green Ridge between Redfeather and Cameron Pass has a ton of mud. It's also a long trip. I haven't been on it in many years. Some years it doesn't open up because it's nearly impassable. Probably wouldn't open until late July. Also, good moose viewing areas.
