Dana 20 no shifty to 4wd
Over the weekend I decided to take the Bronco off road for a bit. Wound up finding some mud and got stuck. But it was okay. I was in my yard.
Anyhow, I noticed I have no 4wd at the moment. No 4 hi. No 4 low. Just the back axle doing the work.
Which leads me to my question, por que? I have the JB Fab twin stick with no modifications to the case. It's a T shift. Pretty sure I had 4wd back when I had the Duff shifter.
Also, kept popping out of 4 hi when I tried that.
Whole driveline is coming out next week. Just wondering what I should be looking for.

if you can hold it in gear and it works, detent springs are broke/ wore. Just went through that on mine about a year ago. The good thing is you have to get the shift forks loose from the inside, re-seal kit in your future!!!

Shift forks are probably loose on the rails.

Gotcha. I'll have to look for that when I get back to CO.
