Bronco garage build has begun!
Got word from my neighbor that there is a crew there starting the work on my new garage. Plans are 28'x28', 12' walls, 16'x9' garage door with side mount opener, a 100 amp sub panel with at least 5 220v outlets and plenty of room for a ton of outlets. Trei and crew are doing the work. I'll keep this thread updated with it's progression. Should 5 weeks until it is done.

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
I'm currently out of town on vacation so I only have word they've begun from my neighbor. I'll get some pics of the demo work once I'm in town tomorrow.

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
Didn't get pics of the demo but I have some pics of the start of the slab/foundation. Sounds like their plan is to have the reinforcements and concrete layout inspected Monday and start pouring concrete Tuesday. I can't wait to see what it looks like once poured.

That'll require a few big guys to move around once it's full.

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
Another update. Pic attached is where they were when I left for work this morning. Once the pad had set up fairly firmly they were going to pull the forms on the right and front side so the could go ahead a finish the concrete pour of the driveway and patio today as well.

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
I'm excited to have a place to work on broncos and cars and fabricate without tripping over things. I'm guessing I'll have a 10k lbs 2 post car lift in it within a month of it being completed. So far I'm ecstatic about the quality and speed in which Trei and crew are getting things done.
They finished pouring all of the concrete today and will likely be framing late next week or the first part of the week after. I can't wait to see it done. I've already got insulation and wall panel lined up. I know which lights I want to use as well.

Nice looking garage floor. Can't believe how smooth they got the slab. Looks good. Framing will start this week will look like a garage soon. I like that tool box.

Eck we try not to put a drain in if we can avoid it. If they break during the pour it can cause issues later. That's why God made squeegee

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
This is coming along very quickly! When I left for work this morning at 5 am the only thing that was done with the framing was the lumber was delivered. When I got home around 4:30 all of the walls were built and up and half of the paneling was up. They're still working and plan to have all of the rough framing done so they can have it inspected tomorrow and proceed with the roofing, windows and siding this weekend. Trei and crew have a projected finish date of next Friday!

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
Small update. They've gotten the rough framing inspection done and will start siding it tomorrow with roofing after. They are still projecting to have the structure done this weekend. Garage door is scheduled to be installed Tuesday. Final inspection to be done Wednesday with electrical following that. I am super impressed with the speed and quality still. I am looking forward to having it done so I can get in it to seal the concrete floor and insulate and panel the whole thing. I picked up the paneling for the inside today for a great deal so that is ready to go. Insulation will be delivered as soon as I give them word.

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
Harry is awesome and a very hard worker. Pretty sure a neighbor called the cops last night when he was finishing up the roof at 9pm. No big deal, the cop just did a quick drive by and chat with Harry I think. Pretty sure I know which neighbor called and I'm sure they're just bitter that I built the garage in a place that blocks his view of my house. Anyway the siding and roof are done as planned! Harry is painting today. Tomorrow is garage door and gutters with inspection Wednesday. Electrical to follow and finish date is still this Friday! Loving it!

Re: Bronco garage build has begun!
Tech days are a definite possibility. I need to get all my stuff caught up before I can consider one but I'm open to it.
No paint today. Rain killed that idea. I hope everyone went home and got some rest!
