Knuckle confirmation
Guys, the knuckles on the '76-'77 Bronco axles are the same ones that are on the '78-'79 Bronco and '72-'79 F150, right? That's my recollection, and my google-fu appears to be malfunctioning.

Re: Knuckle confirmation
I don't think so. If I remember correctly where the tie rod mounts is in a slightly different position or thickness. That's what causes them to rub on 15" rims. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though.

Knuckle confirmation
Phyler is correct. The 76 and 77 knuckles where the tre mounts are slightly bent toward the tire where as the 78-79 are straight and slightly lower and just a bit beefier.

Re: Knuckle confirmation
Cool, thanks. Anyone able to provide the measurement between the center of the knuckle hole where the tire rod connects on the '76-'77 knuckles?

Re: Knuckle confirmation
If I remember correctly the 78-79 knuckles also have more clearance around the axle.

Re: Knuckle confirmation
I'm not going to get over to the 76 until after the weekend.
