Dana 60 differential shims
I'm going to start my D60 swap after hunting season, part of the swap includes changing the rear gears. Looking for just the shims since I have everything else on hand.

Re: Dana 60 differential shims
I will check my stock. I had a pile after doing my 60's but may have tossed them. Will let you know. I do have a set of setup bearings. Homemade but worked if interested

Dana 60 differential shims
I've got them, I guess this means it is time to use them. Of course my big boy just went back to school. Man the D60s are heavy!

Re: Dana 60 differential shims
Any chance i could borrow them when you are through?
Or alternatively, where could I source good used bearings to modify as setup bearings? Any help would be appreciated.
And yes, that 60 is freakin heavy! After manhandling it, i was tossing my old 44 around like it was nothin.

Re: Dana 60 differential shims
Kchaser owns them, so as long as he is okay. JY would be the cheapest, online vendors are proud of them.

Re: Dana 60 differential shims
So Kinder, are you using them now? Do you need a hand with anything to help you finish? I have a strong back and tools (dial indicator, torque wrenches, etc)
Im kindof in a pinch, and am just about done with all my prep (cleaning, and locker/carrier assembly) and will be able to start my setup here real quick..... And borrowing these "ready to go" setup bearings is, by far, the easiest means to the end!

Re: Dana 60 differential shims
Come get them or I can meet you south of town again, I'm waiting on final price quote before I pick my traction aid and finish up my 60s.

Re: Dana 60 differential shims
Thank you so much, all you guys. I just barged in and hijacked, demanding to borrow stuff! So to conclude my rude intrusion, id like to say; If y'all ever need a hand, or to borrow a tool, or whatever... I will certainly help.
