I got here long after this project started, but I'd like to jump in and I can lend a hand that week of Thanksgiving. Just let me know when and where.

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
I'm going to try to be helpful when thanksgiving week rolls around if work doesn't get in the way. Phil, when I brought the Block down I also brought some doors down, were there not rods for the drivers side door locks in there? If not I might have some of the parts from those doors in one of my many boxes of Bronco parts.

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
We'll get it posted up over the next couple of days.
I think we are going to get a late start this Saturday as Phil might be attending the breakfast.
I have to help a neighbor move and should be home by 10 am or so. We can start anytime after that.

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
Ok, we will probably get started a little late today due to road conditions etc
Come on over after the breakfast. Garage will be heated and there will be coffee to help keep warm.
Today's projects will include finishing installation of the D44 front axle and re-gearing the rear axle from 4.11 to 4.88. Plenty to do if you can make it !

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
We got the front end swapped and built a TRO steering linkage set up.
Had some trouble drilling out the pitman arm so we are on the hunt for a replacement and a place with a real drill press.
We will be back at it today with a 9 am start time.
Probably going to work on re-gearing the rear end and maybe exhaust system.

I'll check my stash for a pitman arm, I'll let you know if I find one and bring it with me this am.

I've got the drill press. If the pitman is anywhere near me I can pick it up, drill it and deliver.

Are there any plans to work on it over this weekend? I should have some free time and I have some glass samples I need to bring over for Phil to check as well.

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
We are working today, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We generally start between 8 and 9 and wrap it up around dinner time.
Today will be kind of a thrash as we need to finish installation of ARB in the rear, install exhaust, and install twin sticks and fool around with transfer case mount.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be mostly dedicated to body work and getting it primered.
Stop by any time. I really appreciate knowing who is coming and when so we don't mistakenly run off on errands with the joint all locked up.
Thanks to everyone who has already helped this week and looking forward to seeing others over the next few days.
