I am planning to come hang out on Friday - should be there mid morning or so. I will bring my sand paper and sanding blocks.....

Are the weekend hours of operation still on the 9 to 5 plan? I'm thinking I can get down to help out on Saturday.

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
Things are being removed, installed, upgraded and readied for paint. D30 is long gone. D44 is in place. Steering linkage is done. Rear Detroit locker is out and ARB and 4.88 gears are in. "Cell phone" security drawer is installed. 17" budget wheels with excessive backspace are fitting and clearing the rear quarters. Body panels are almost ready for primer. Thanks to all the folks that came out to help in the last couple days. 20151122_183906.jpg 20151127_113739.jpg 20151127_195935.jpg 20151127_191446.jpg 20151127_191527.jpg

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
More good stuff happened today. BH exhaust system took 4 or 5 hours to install while Gunni straightened out the body panels then shot primer. Exhaust actually fits pretty well but is a little tight in spots due to the 351W and 4R70W. Much better quality, fit and sound than the BC exhaust system.

I swapped out the explorer power steering reservoir for a superduty reservoir. 20151201_143438.jpg 20151201_143454.jpg

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
The reservoir has a nice OEM bracket that is hard to see.
It bolts up to the firewall nicely and then the reservoir drops into some slots on the mount with some rubber isolators.

What size tire would you like to run, 275/70-17's...... 34x10.5R17!!!???
Are you also planning on moving your rear axle back? If so, how far?

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
Got the wheel centers opened up to fit on the front hubs. No interference problems with the brake line or steering linkage. Radius arms are going to rub on sharp turns though.

Re: project viperwolfe is starting
Do the fittings put much pressure on the plastic tubes of the reservoir?
