Paint gun suggestion
I need to buy a new spray gun for painting. Not looking for anything facny, just need something that will do a decent job of laying down paint at a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

What, you too good for HF? ;-) Curious about this too. I know I need a good filter on my compressor but that's all I know.

Re: Paint gun suggestion
Just get something cheap. I have a $30 gun I shoot non-critical stuff with. Tip size should be somewhere around 1.3-1.5. That should shoot primer, single stage, base & clearcoat all ok. Make sure its HVLP. This one gets good reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Stai ... =paint+gunYou can add a water separator to the air line, then run a disposable inline filter on the gun, like this: http://www.amazon.com/Disposable-Water- ... gun+filter

Re: Paint gun suggestion
Glad you brought this up. I need to pick one up too to paint all my axles, transfer case and driveshafts.
May order that one Gunni posted...

Re: Paint gun suggestion
If you want to spend a little more, this looks a lot like something we bought at my old shop: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001N1E9Y8?psc=1It would add some versatility to your set up.

Its not rocket surgery, but it takes some practice. Good luck! Shoot any questions you have at me.
