Harmonic Balancer
Just double checking: This is the correct Damper Dudes balancer for running Explorer serp on a 302 or 351w, correct? http://www.damperdudes.net//product_inf ... cts_id=224Alternately, anyone know of a place in the metro area that could competently rebalance the Explorer balancer that i've already got? Damper Dudes is proud of that thing.

Re: Harmonic Balancer
MPG told me they would rebalance mine from 50 to 28 if I brought in a 28 they could go off of. You may check with them.

Re: Harmonic Balancer
I'll give Scott a call, thanks. I need to talk to him about costs to go through my block anyway.

Re: Harmonic Balancer
Any decent machine shop can do it. I have had 3 done. Ideally, you would give them your crank and fly wheel / flex plate and they can balance it to the parts your going to use.

Re: Harmonic Balancer
Thanks, I'll talk to Scott about the best way to go. I may need to have my heads milled down as well, so I'll likely take everything to him at once.
