 Re: project viperwolfe is starting The shroud did help at low speed and idle in the triple digits. I did get some temp creep at high speed in those temps though. At cooler temps the engine runs within a couple degrees of the thermostat temp (193-195). Over 95 degrees would make creep to 203 after 10 miles on the highway at 70 mph. I know it doesn't sound terrible but this is on flat ground. So I did some research and found a replacement explorer radiator that had a 1/2" thicker core. Still 2 rows of tubes but each 1/4" wider. Total cost $118 at Summit. Now I have to wait for it to get hot again so I can put it to the test.20160607_175543.jpg

I'm going to put the shroud on mine and see how it does with the summer temps arriving in CO.
I'm thinking I may have to change out my Bronco radiator for your set up, especially if I now have to install air conditioner condenser in front of radiator.
Will be curious about trans temps too as I currently run mine through an auxiliary cooler. Ousted in front of radiator.
