With the weather so nice and the 2.5 year clock ticking down it was time to see if it would move after 8 years of neglect.

This will be my youngest boy's car, built to drive to school and play on the vintage road race tracks.

Awesome! I am thrilled to see D's ride getting to see the light of day and a little pavement time. Something about a trip to the local Sonic in a classic that just feels right. Now lets go roast those dry rotted tires off the rims!

And you already know what you are getting into having built W's rig. It is both the most awesome thing you can do and the most frustrating thing you can do... But I can testify - they do actually listen to you, and it is pretty awesome when you get calls from across the continent asking your advice on something they are working on.

Yes - I would do it all again. In a heartbeat.

Perhaps I am stretching the limits of this thread a bit, but it's a project I am quite proud of. New house has your standard wine glass hanger apparatus and they were just too small for my beer glasses. So I started spacing them out to discover my beer glasses have way too much variety of base diameters for these to work. And since, for a weekend, I had access to a table saw, I started making my own. So all I have re-made was the upsidedown T's and L's, but they perform flawlessly! No chance of any of my glasses falling out on their own. I have LED's to light them up, but I need some power splitters to install them.

Nice, I miss the European style beer glasses.

Last update on this project. I used the Sylvania Mosaic LED strips from Lowes (and online) and I think they are a good product for fairly cheap.

This may be my next project (after I get the Bronco close). It's been sitting in my Mom's drive for 12-15 years. I need to get something the wife can drive. That way, she's more on board when I want to spend money on this stuff.

Are you going to try to restore the emblem? That will be cool!

I would like to try to. I remember it being white and a reflective blue. Can't really tell anymore.

I picked up this GS 550 from a professor up in the spring several years ago to see if I could build a "bar hopper". Life happened but I finally completed it in Oct and I just sold it this weekend for more Bronco Parts! My last side project should be this 1969/70 Honda Z50 that's sitting as a trophy in my garage I trade for a go cart 8-years ago and is 99% complete and original.

Nice CB, that one looks unmolested i love the spokes rims, I'm sure he's hear of the site called "pipe burn" lots of cool bikes to get ideas from. Also TD motorcycles in Thornton is a good source parts way better than Steeles IMO

TD Motorcycle isn't much of a store they do most of there business on Ebay. I find that there process for taking bikes apart and displaying them is really spot on an not sketchy, being local is a plus for me as well.
