Re: OHV stickers
I just can't imagine them trying to enforce this. They would need toll booths or something leading out of CB during the summer. I could see a pissed off P&W officer tacking this ticket onto a stop for some other reason.

Re: OHV stickers
in Cali (AMA district 26), when you registered for a race (motorcycles) they had a P&W ranger next to registration and would check for stickers and spark arrestors, as you registered. I would think if this is to be enforced, they would pull over whom ever, as deemed necessary. Im sure they wil check for sticker and spark arrestors as well. I run plated and a spark arrestor regardless.

Re: OHV stickers
I had a good talk with several trail organizations at the Toys 4 Tots event. I always thought the OHV sticker was just a trail tax, turns out I was wrong. Most, more than 50%, of the funds from sales go towards keeping the trails open. Grants are given to all users including 4x4 clubs that hep with trail repairs, materials & supplies. I'll likely one on BSD, it's a easy & cheap way to support the folks doing the work.

Re: OHV stickers
Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it looks to me like it only applies to unregistered vehicles.

Re: OHV stickers
I think it applies to both registered and unregistered vehicles.
"All OHVs and motor vehicles (including motorcycles) that display a valid Colorado or out-of -state license plate must also display a current Colorado OHV use permit sticker when operated on designated OHV trails in Colorado."

Re: OHV stickers
Any motor vehicle that is already licensed for public road ways doesn't need a ohv sticker.
