Post Wheel question.
Kirk helped me out a few years ago with the ruffstuff knuckle over conversion. I know a bunch of people went to this combo. I will be purchasing new wheels and tires soon and I was wondering what offset and backspacing people are running. The wheels I have now are very close to rubbing the inner portion of the wheel. I want 15x10's for 35 12.50's. I know this subject is beat to death, so thanks in advance.

Do yourself a favor and step up to 17s now. The tire selection for 15s is dwindling quickly and 17s aren't that much more expensive. Price is much less of a difference than it used to be. 17s will clear the tie rods and brakes easier so you can pretty much pick any offset you want. All advantages.

I'm in agreement here. 37's are the new 33's (tires), and 17's are the new 15's (wheels). Now there are some setups where I could see the benefits of sticking with a 15, but if you're not concerned with the OEM look, then I'd jump to 17's. That's my plan at some point in the future...

17's are expensive and tires are at least 100 dollars more, but all the cool kids do have 17's. hmmm

I have the best of both worlds. I do like the 17s they look great but I like the price of the 15s and the way they hold the Half Cab. I guess if I had 2 choose I'd stay with the 15s unless I had a huge lift then I'd go with 17s.
My 2¢

i debated over and over about going up to a 17. in the end I couldnt find a wheel I liked that would fit the way I want with out running spacers or $500 a wheel.

I deal with this a lot . If 35’s are the biggest you want to go then go with 15” wheels. If you ever plan on going bigger than that might as well step up to 17. The 17” option is tough for Broncos because the new wheels are designed for ram 1500 with a higher offset. Which means they are tucked in under the fenders more. Some of the 17x10 have more negative offset that push out the wheels but then it starts to limit the choices you have.
If you have any other ? Hit me up at the shop 303-692-0802

Thanks for all the input. I think I am going to stay with 15" wheels. Cost is a major factor. Ill give you a call when I am ready to buy wheels and tires Bobby.
