Installed a WH 3.5” suspension years ago, probably 2010. WH front springs are known to settle a fair bit during first year, which mine did, so I installed 4.5” springs up front.

Now, a couple years later, the rear seems to be settling / sagging and I️ don’t like the stance.

ANy input on what to expect if I were to get new 3.5” springs ?

I'm a fan of Prerunner sag (ofcaorse I'm odd X desert guy). Could always do a thin add-a-leaf... just a thought

Add more weight to the front. Mine has finally settled out after sitting nose low for years.

you could have your springs re-arched @ Denver spring.

To be honest I would not have your springs re-arched. I worked at Denver spring for a year and saw the process they use. The re-arch rarley lasts especially if your gonna wheel it and stress the springs. They will probably offer to add a leaf also but it most likely will be one big thick leaf and ride rougher and hurt articulation.

When I redid my springs two years ago. I ordered 2" fronts and 3.5" rears...... Now with all my tools. New rear bumper, high lift, spare, full 24gal fuel I sag a 1/2". Wish I would of bought 4.5" rears. These are deavers from Jeff's.

good to know that it seems to be a short term solution.

Mine did that as well. I ended up ordering a new set of 11-leafs from Tom's. Now it's level. I think wheeling is just hard on them all.

Do you think it will continue to sag worse?

What is the measurement between the rear axle & frame?

Will you loose important wheel clearance in the front if you drop to a shorter front spring, to match the existing rear lift?

Get a damn winch!

Maybe you could hang some truck nuts off the front bumper to help your saggy problem.

Well, got a helluva good deal on a Warn winch at 4WP sale this week end.

Also, while working on the rear end this week end i found that the axle shim on the driver’s side had rotated such that it was almost perpendicular to the leaf springs. Pounded it back in line which should help a little.

We’ll see what the winch does.
