Re: Ax15
I don’t think I’ve seen that done, as long as there is a bell housing to get from the small 6 (144-200) to the AX15 you can make it happen.
I bet it’s been a discussion item on fordsix.com

Ax15
A little research and a few missing links. Novak makes an adapter to get from the Ford “butterfly” bell housing to the AX15. And the factory small 6 bell housing is a butterfly housing. https://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/ada ... it-fmax15/Of course then you have to get to the D20. http://www.advanceadapters.com/products ... o-dana-20/It’s only money.

Re: Ax15
I 've seen the kits from wild horses just wanting to make sure the bell housing on the six will work. What is the difference between the 6 and 8 trans? A buddy of mine just rolled his 97 wrangler and is giving me the trans. And what is money haven't seen that stuff in a while .

Re: Ax15
It looks to me like Novak describes the butterfly pattern as the standard small block pattern. In which case a falcon six will not work unless it was 1980s vintage. The 250 and 240/300 used the small block pattern.

Re: Ax15
Thanks talked to Matt at wild horses need to find a 11 inch fly wheel and bell housing. So maybe an 80's truck bell housing will work?
