High torque mini starter
I read somewhere that a 90-93 Mustang has a stock mini starter that will bolt right up to my 302.(1971 engine) ok, I know it should bolt in ok but are the teeth on the starter going to mesh ok with my ‘71 Automatic Flex plate?
If not, any suggestions?

Yes. I don't know about the mustang application but all the v8 explorers used them.
