I'm in!

I am a very strong - Probably. I have had one buddy who has a buggy sound interested. So I am seeing 7 Broncos I think, 3 Jeeps, and 1 buggy at this point...

I fully intend on being there. I just need to shake the grip of Murphy's Law. So what I'm saying is; I'm a maybe.

Ok Brian and his jeep buddies don't want to run it with us now. They will be coming off the trail as we get there. They want to run it during the week so we don't have to worry about them.

I'm was hoping to make this trail run, but since the Super Celebration is just a few weeks after the Rubicon run its just too short of a time line between runs and not sure the wife will enjoy that much seat time? I'M OUT

Not trying to sway your decision, but I see the Super Cel West as a yearly event whereas the Rubicon is significantly more elusive.

I'm going to talk to a friend who has run it a bunch and ask about group size and weekend vs weekday traffic.

I just spoke to my friend. He said that a group of 10 is manageable. Larger than 10 he suggested breaking into 2 groups with some gap between. He also suggested trying to avoid big 'event' weekends. I googled a couple of the events he mentioned and they are in late July and early August, so that is good. He said some big events will draw hundreds of trucks for a weekend, and make the trip very difficult. Weekday runs are obviously best, with less traffic.

As the dates approach I'll put the info out to the local club and see if we can get someone with some experience to come with our group. With my troubles getting my shop ready, the likelihood I'll get up there before our trip is slim.

A good first day would be to leave Loon Lake and camp the first night at Buck Island. Then the second night camp at Rubicon Springs. Rubicon Springs is on private land, and the cost to camp is $15/truck.

Edit: Another event to look out for is the Marlin Crawler Roundup, last year it was Sept 11-15. Dates for this year haven't been announced.

If we are entertaining a date change for this trip.......the sooner we know the sooner I can change my vacation schedule at work

Not normally an issue but the proximity of this event to SC west is a little challenging

I'm presuming this is a dead event due to the Super Celebration West Event.

I am working on timing on my end and will know if this is feasible in June. I have allot going on in a short period of time.

I plan to definitely attend super celebration.

Looks like Chris is a maybe now-- and considering this trip originated from him-- are we still planning to do this regardless (Chris-- I hope you can make it happen)?

I think if we wait to determine that we are or aren't doing this in June-- it becomes much more difficult to gain participation and plan appropriately.

Working on it. Hate to be a maybe but it’s simply a fact since super celebration was announced and there are a bunch of things crammed into just 4 weeks.

I still plan on going. Whether its with the bronco guys or my jeep buddies.

The super cel thing is real. Do we want to look at moving dates?

I'm still interested in going too. I can move date too if it is better to get more broncos. If it is early enough, the kids get to go too instead of staying with Nana and Pop because of school.
