Re: Cam's 73'
Thanks to Terry for thinkin of us while he was down on vacation in Florda, he picked up these flares for me! They look sweet and they feel way more durable than the fiberglass ones I was going to use. They fit other than the one spot with the aux tank filler neck but we made it work!

Re: Cam's 73'
Cam put in some good work this weekend even though it was cold. He got to wire wheel the BED LINER GARBAGE off of front windshield frame before priming and painting it Black like the hood, and then we put the new windshield into the gasket and mounted it up on Sunday! He’s going to remove the hardtop and hopefully get the old white Kaline soft top mounted up next weekend! So proud of this Kid!

Love it!! He seems to be taking his time and doing a great job. Wish I would have learned patience when I was at that age!

Re: Cam's 73'
So, its definitely been awhile since I've posted, but progress is still being made despite the weather. I threw in some bilsteins in the rear but I have some duffs on the way because the bilsteins are just a bit too big. I also got the rear half of the brakes taken out and replaced so we'll be able to bleed them soon. I forgot to take a picture but I put in the new glovebox as well.

Re: Cam's 73'
What are the collapsed and extended measurements on the Bilsteins? I may be interested in them when you swap them out.
Thanks!

Re: Cam's 73'
Love that idea. I wonder if you will have to port the boxes for better sound?? If they are sealed then the speakers will be creating a vacuum and then pressure. You might need a small hole somewhere.

Re: Cam's 73'
Still doesnt solve the problem tho. Perhaps it doesnt matter with 6x9 but that is why the ported subwoofer boxes work best.

Re: Cam's 73'
Yeah probably not for a 6x9 I had a couple small boxes on my wheel wells w/6x9s, with no port. Probably not as sealed as an ammo can though.

Re: Cam's 73'
Soooo, we got everything down to the timing, about to get a new timing chain, gaskets, oil pan and the rest of the front of the motor put in, a new driver side wing window and this sweet new steering wheel

Re: Cam's 73'
So we got a few things done over the weekend, painted the fender flares, got the timing chain, timing chain cover gasket, oil pan gasket, got the oil pan painted, got all that reinstalled, new fuel pump gasket, new headlights installed, cut out the passenger side floor pan, decided on a "new" rear bumper (which is actually off of my dads first ever bronco) but now we need a new power steering pump because our new one pooped out on us before we even used it then we should be good to go on some more goodies!

Re: Cam's 73'
Do you want to upgrade to the Saginaw pump? I believe I have the complete setup w/ brackets for a Bronco sitting in storage, it may even be a dual return.

Re: Cam's 73'
Cam did a great job cutting out the rust, just need a couple thin patch panels and drop the front in place and we’ll be halfway done!

Re: Cam's 73'
Got the old tailgate gutted and put everything into the new one, it still doesn’t fit right with the bedsides a little bent outward so we’ll definitely find a way to straighten that out to make the tailgate latch correctly
