Re: Now: The Old School Super Duty
Some people's kids...
I sent this guy an email on Saturday to let him know I was interested. Followed up with a phone call on Sunday. Another email on Sunday evening. Got a phone call back at 11:45pm on Sunday night which I did not take because my phone is silent after 9:30pm. Found an email reply on Monday morning in which the seller stated he would call me back on Monday. No call. Since then, I've tried calling six times (no voice mail active on the line, despite it being an iPhone) and have written another six emails. At this point, I'm ready to call it quits on this truck. Which is a damn shame because it is absolutely perfect for what I want.

Drives me nuts when people don't respond also! If you're selling something, you should be ready to speak to people and not at weird hours.

Nice!
I like the Expo idea too. I would love to build an earth roamer. One day.

Re: Now: The Old School Super Duty
I know this isn't a super duty, but what is something like this worth? 1968 F150 all original, 390 , 4 speed with granny low, original paint, original interior in great shape.

Re: Now: The Old School Super Duty
Not bad. 2wd though. Running and driving I'd say 2k plus. The 2wds aren't really that popular so you can usually score them cheaper. And being a CCLB, that thing probably measure fuel economy in kmpg instead of mpg.

Re: Now: The Old School Super Duty
Yeah. It's looks to be pretty well cared for. That's rare for a crew cab. Most of them were bought to beat to death. Or so it seems from their condition today.

Re: Now: The Old School Super Duty
I'd convert that F350 to 4wd. That's minor considering the drivetrain swap you have planned.

Beautiful. And a Ranger model too. I love the badge inset in the grill.
